Five Temperature Records Set in Kyiv
 
The Borys Sreznevskyi Central Geophysical Observatory reports that according to data from the Kyiv Joint Hydrometeorological Station, five temperature records were recorded in the capital between June 6 and 8.
 
On June 6, the average daily air temperature was the highest ever recorded for that date, reaching 24.9°C, which exceeded the previous record set in 1956 by 0.2°C and surpassed the climatic norm by 6.5°C.
 
On June 7, the minimum air temperature did not drop below 19.9°C, which is 0.7°C higher than in 2014. The average daily temperature was also the highest ever recorded for that date, reaching 26.2°C, surpassing the previous record from 2011 by 1.5°C and exceeding the climatic norm by 7.2°C.
 
On June 8, the minimum air temperature did not fall below 20.4°C, which is 1.8°C higher than the previous record from 2011. The maximum afternoon temperature reached 31.4°C, exceeding the 2011 record for that date by 0.1°C.

The Borys Sreznevskyi Central Geophysical Observatory reports that, according to data from the Kyiv Joint Hydrometeorological Station, a record high air temperature for this date was recorded in the capital on April 24.
 
The air temperature in the afternoon reached 27.4°C, which is 0.4°C higher than the previous record set in 1950.

The Borys Sreznevskyi Central Geophysical Observatory reports that, according to observations from the Kyiv Combined Hydrometeorological Station, a record amount of precipitation was recorded in the capital on April 1—18.1 mm. This surpasses the previous record for this date, set in 1891, when 14.6 mm of precipitation was recorded. In Kyiv, 43% of the monthly norm of precipitation fell in just one day.

The Borys Sreznevskyi Central Geophysical Observatory reports that, according to data from the Kyiv Combined Hydrometeorological Station, two air temperature records were recorded in the capital on March 14.
 
The minimum air temperature did not drop below 10.9°C, which is 3.3°C higher than the previous record for this date set in 2001.
 
The average daily temperature was the highest on record for this date, reaching 12.7°C, which exceeded the previous record from 2002 by 1.3°C and surpassed the climatic norm by 10.0°C—matching the typical temperature of April 26.
 
In total, 15 temperature records have been set in the capital during the first half of March.

The minimum air temperature did not drop below 7.4°C, which is 1.8°C higher than the previous record for this date set in 2015.
 
The average daily air temperature was the highest ever recorded for this date, reaching 10.5°C. This exceeded the previous record from 2020 by 1.3°C and surpassed the climate norm by 8.2°C.

On March 7, the maximum air temperature in the afternoon reached 20.2°C, which is 3.9°C higher than the previous record for this date set in 1995.
 
On March 8, the maximum air temperature in the afternoon reached 18.8°C, surpassing the previous record for this date set in 2019 by 1.1°C. The average daily temperature was the highest ever recorded at 12.1°C, exceeding the 2019 record by 2.0°C and the climatic norm by 10.6°C. Based on long-term data, such temperatures are typical for late April.
 
On March 9, the maximum air temperature in the afternoon reached 20.0°C, which is 2.7°C higher than the previous record for this date set in 1920. The average daily temperature was also the highest ever recorded at 11.2°C, surpassing the 2019 record by 0.7°C and the climatic norm by 9.4°C.

The average daily air temperature was the highest ever recorded for this date, reaching 7.1°C, which surpassed the previous record from 2002 by 1.4°C and exceeded the climatic norm by 9.7°C.

The previous record from 2015 was exceeded by 1.9°C.

The minimum air temperature on September 28 in Kyiv was also the highest for this day, dropping only to 17.5°C.

The minimum air temperature on September 14 in the capital was the highest for this day, not dropping below 17.1°C.

The previous record from 2011 was exceeded by 0.6°C.

The minimum air temperature on September 15 in Kyiv was also the highest for this day, dropping only to 19.4°C.

The previous record from 1909 was exceeded by 1.9°C.

The average daily air temperature for this date was the highest ever recorded, reaching 23.3°C, surpassing the previous record from 1909 by 0.2°C and exceeding the climatic norm by 7.7°C.

Since the beginning of the month, a total of six temperature records have been set.
